Everyone is talking about blogs. To blog or not to blog is no longer the question, but what are they? During these days blogs can be seen everywhere. It’s difficult to search the Internet without seeing the word Blog somewhere. The intent of this article is to explain the basics what a Blog is and how you can use them to promote your business and to obtain valuable information faster. Blogs are usually written by one person, updated regularly and is based on a particular topic. There are as many unique types of blogs as there are people. A blog is not a monologue; it’s a conversation but not all blogs use comments.
Blogs is a contraction of Web log. Blog uses a ‘give and take’ policy which means you can exchange and share your ideas with others. A great part of people around the world uses blog. Blogging – Making Money While Enjoying It At The Same Time

What is the best job in this world? Is it that of being the President of a top company? Is it web development? Or is it the job of being a singer? None! In my opinion, the best job in the world is the job which enables you to earn revenue while having fun at the same time. I remember my previous day job where I hate to spend 8 hours per day!
I would like to work when I want to at my own pace! I want making money by indulging myself in my favorite hobbies. Blogging is one job where I can do just that!
Blogging Gives You the Scope for Expressing Your Ideas
For sure you are good at something. Like you may enjoy watching movies and enjoy the latest celebrity gossip in town. Or you may be good at cooking and willing to share your cooking style and tips. Think of something you are good at, I am sure you have that.
Blog can give you an opportunity where you can write about something you are good at. It doesn’t need to be a great topic or skill; it could be as simple as how to play online games. And as a matter of fact, there is a 13 years old kid who is earning residual income by just blogging about the tricks of playing online games.
You do not need to be an expert in writing in order to write something. Everybody, even as young as 9 years old kid can write a blog these days! In fact, I have a niece who started writing a blog about her school days, and one day there was a kid magazine offering to pay her $200 per month just to put advertising on her blog!
Different Sources Of Income
You might be wondering how a blog could make you some money. There are several sources of income for bloggers! Let’s start with my favorite source of revenue: advertising. When your blog grows in posts, your readership base will also start growing by leaps and bounds. At that time you can leverage your blog with advertisement. Being paid for writing something you already love to write about – can anything be better than that?
You can either offer advertising space to selected vendors or join an advertising network like Google Adsense for free. It is fairly simple; don’t think too much about the technical details. If my 10 years old niece can do it, so can you!
Another way to make money is by offering monthly memberships to the readers of your blog. If your content is really that good, you can get away with $2000-$4000 residual income per month.
One friend of mine earns money by doing just this. He started writing about real estate investment since he had almost 15 years of experiences on the subject! The money he makes nowadays from blogging has been more than what he has earned during his 15 years’ real estate investment career!
