Lastly, if you compete very well in a periodic tournament, you may get lucky and earn a Divine Inspiration.

And that’s it! Now, once you acquire this item, you must decide how to use it. This is not an easy decision. If it is your first Divine Inspiration, you will want to use it in a manner that gives you the most impact. You can upgrade the Alchemy Lab to unlock several research improvements. You can upgrade your castle, as this will help food gathering and will allow you to conquer a tenth wilderness. Lastly, you can upgrade your walls for a big defense boost.

Another good source of information is from your alliance. They will also be able to provide additional chances to win the Magic Tokens which will help you win the Divine Inspiration.
