WHAT do you need to do to put your fears aside?
What would you be able to do, create and accomplish? If you really take the time to imagine this; you’ll feel like a big weight has been lifted from your shoulders. By destroying FEAR you can begin living and feel the freedom you have always desired.
Our poor beliefs and insecurities keep us chained to get success, harmony and happiness. If we didn’t buy-in to the fear, it would have no power over us.
How do you overcome fear? I came from good parents but a father that always told me to watch out for this or that. He warned me and warned me about this or that and more; all the while to “protect” me from life. Let me tell you, years and years of hearing; no, don’t do that, watch out for this… takes a toll on the emotions.
I developed a fear of what others thought of me; fear of how I looked, fear if I was good enough; smart enough, fear of being rejected, fear of not being loved and much more but I think you get the idea.
Late in my teenager time I began to listen to Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Dennis Waitley and more and my fear began to get replaced with positive ideas and the possibility of being success, self-worth and happy, etc. I remember being just 18 years of age and listening to these great speaks tell ME; that I could do it, that I could succeed, that I can visualize success and a life of happiness and abundance. Thank God I was young and nave; because I bought into it hook, line and sinker! This didn’t happen overnight!
My decision to be an entrepreneur has been a HUGE benefit in helping me overcome many of the fears and limiting beliefs that I had had carried inside of me until this point.
The first time I had to speak to a group, I was extremely nervous and intimidated… But I did it, and today I love speaking to others in person, on video and cherish the opportunity to inspire those around me.
After taking the actions, becasue I believe in myself, the more I got involved with the word “can do” information; the more I overcame that fear. In other words, the “taking action” was in itself a cure for FEAR.
Does owning a business cause or cure fear? I feel owning your own business is so much more than making money, financial success or anything tied to material things. Don’t misunderstand me, those things are fine but WHO you become is the most valuable of all.

Fundamentals are boring, because the way you learn them can get very boring and repetitious. Network Marketing was introduced to me in’91. I was in the restaurant business all my life. Network Marketing was completely new to me and I didn’t have a clue of how it work or how to go about it. The one thin I realized is that they both dealt with people. They were similar , but very different at the same time. In the restaurant business you waited for people to come to you. Whereas in Network Marketing you had to go to them. Usually friends, work associates and relatives.
How was I going to approach this new venture? One early AM I saw an infomercial with a gentleman called Tony Robbins. Remember him? The guy with the big teeth. The cassette tapes were called “Personal Power and he was very persuasive so I finally ordered the tapes.
I could hardly believe that on the very first tape he states that 10% of the people who order his tapes never take them out of the wrapper. They store them in a closet or shelf somewhere and never listen to them. That was not going to be me. Over and over I listened to them. Trying to find something magical in them. Unfortunately that didn’t occur for me. I had to develop in other ways.
“Take Action” was one of the benefits of these tapes(cassettes) to me. You can design a method and set goals of how to approach Network Marketing , but if you sit on your rear nothing is going to happen. You have to move forward and take action. There are people who will tell you anything to get you signed up and that is too bad. Fro instance when I got started I assumed you bought a distributor kit and some product and you were on your way.
The marketing tools and systems that Network Marketing companies have developed today are fantastic. all these tools are wonderful and getting better all the time, but you still must “Take Action.” Try not to get overwhelmed but your mind telling you it’s too much. “Inch by inch it’s a cinch-mile by mile it’s a trial.” Go at your own pace until you get a handle on MLM, but make sure you do something everyday. Above all “Take Action.”

Take your time and ask questions that have otherwise not already been answered by the product or company tour that you have been directed to… don’t be afraid to get the truth out of people as that is key to building trust and rapport.
As a home business owner, you need to weigh up the pros and cons, and then come up with a tactical marketing plan to see how viable your chosen niche really is. Are there topics that you can write articles on? Are there keywords that are perfect for pay-per-click advertising? Are there niche magazines you may place classified ads? Do you have the patience and persistence to see your commitment through to the very end? Are you really passionate about what you want, how you’re going to get it, and know exactly what steps you’ll need to take? It will take time, money, effort, and 100% commitment on your behalf to build a thriving team that really excels… have you got what it takes?
