Review of Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring MLM Lead System & Course
Downline Builder? I’ll Put Tons of New Reps Under You In Your Downline….And Other Lies My Upline Told Me
I received a troubling phone call not too long ago from a new coaching client. She is new to MLM and so was having the most common struggle – how to generate leads. She reached out to me for help.
This newbie had hit that very common point in her new MLM business that happens when we begin in this industry with no training in marketing whatsoever. The point where you’ve completely run out of friends and family to pitch your opportunity to and you’re in the NFL Club. NFL means No Friends Left. They run screaming when they see you coming.
So, now what? Where are the new leads going to come from?
Well, here I was giving this new marketer some valuable instruction on how she could generate leads for free on the internet, when she shared this troubling piece of information.
I asked her what kind of training her upline was giving her. What did they tell her to do to get leads? She took a big sigh of frustration and told me that she was unhappy with her upline. They weren’t doing what they’d promised to do.
I marveled at what on earth they could have promised her.
Her upline had given her their word that when she joined this MLM at the “top” level (read: priciest), they would put a bunch of new reps under her in her downline. Piece of Cake.
I get truly upset when I hear stuff like this. Sadly, there are some unprincipled network marketers out there who will sign up anyone that’s breathing and say what they have to in order to get their money.
Here’s the point: there is no “get rich quick” scheme that actually works…in Network Marketing or anything else. This is a business. If you want to build a business, you must roll up your sleeves and put in some time and effort. Whether it’s a traditional brick-and-mortar business or an MLM business, it takes time to build.
Yes, there are ways to shorten that time significantly. Learning how to leverage the internet is one of them. And that takes training. And commitment. You can build a HUGE Network Marketing business online (or offline) with proper marketing and recruiting training and a commitment to be serious about it. A commitment to treat it as a business and not a hobby. Remember, a business pays and a hobby costs.
If someone purports to make all the effort for you, and watch the money roll in, open your eyes. If they tell you that you just need to sign up 2 reps and relax as the checks arrive, you’re fooling yourself.
Wake up and smell the cappuccino. Don’t allow yourself to be seduced into this kind of thinking.
If you truly want to build a real Network Marketing empire, you must be sure your company gives extraordinary training. Training that includes something beyond prospect anyone with a pulse. A truly great Network Marketing company should offer fantastic training in prospecting as well as lead generation. More than anything though, marketing.
More than anything, be sure that you have an honest upline. Be sure that they are giving you real info on what it takes to build in their company. A truly great upline will recruit you because they see the leader inside you waiting to get out – a leader they can turn into a producer. Not recruit you because you’re merely breathing and holding a credit card.
Trust your gut. So many wonderful opportunities exist in Network Marketing. So many ways to earn a six or seven figure income. Go out and get yourself a true mentor who can guide you to the prosperity you deserve!
